Hello. I'm a beginner and only started reading a book by Edain McCoy called "Making Magick: What it is and how it works." I'm a Christian and continue to be one. However, it doesn't mean that I'm not interested or not looking into witchcraft for guidance, personal growth and a happier life. If anyone would like to contact me... I'd be really glad to reply and work with you. Thank you!
P.S. My name isn't really Bilbo. It's a nickname I'd like to use for myself, lol. Bilbo Baggins is a character from Lord of the Rings and what he said to Gandalf about how much he missed the mountains and the adventure... really resonated in me.
A couple of months ago, I moved to central Florida after living in South Florida for a few years. I'm a college student who would like to grow spiritually and loosen up a bit (in a good way). Being depressed and a lonely (it goes with my lifepath number, hmm) is something that I'd like to move on from.
The quotation that I have is from the Old Testament and the reason I chose it was, (1), the story (about Yosef who had prophetic dreams but was disowned by his brothers) ended happily with a family reunion and a blessing from the father, (2) when asked about his prophetic dreams and interpretation of others'... Yosef's response was that the abilities did not come from him solely but from God. I read up on Edain McCoy's "Making Magick" and how gathering energy from the Earth allows us to perform magic. So, on one sense, I'm able to see a correlation between Judeo-Christian beliefs and Paganism. It's just a thought!
Also, the moon is my photo because I'm amazed by its view and I do notice instability whenever it's full.
Anyway... this looks like a long P.S.! Take care of yourself and remain strong - spiritually, mentally, physically. If you'd like to be a friend of mine... add me. I'll be glad. :D

Merry Meet! All are welcome here. I'm so glad you're not limiting your path, all lead to the Divine.
