It's a bit intriguing in the sense of a Witch to think of wildfires. What happens in a wildfire? The destruction of many habitats for familiars, perhaps, and it's unfortunate for the time being. An unlikable view of a beautiful, gigantic sentinel tree going timber to the ground all burnt up and all. But what is probably peculiar is a migration of animals going toward the burnt wilderness (or what was left of it). And actually...in a sense the wilderness is still there...regardless of whether a tree is seen standing or not. :)
I remember listening to a study on why this happens: the animals who embraced the wilderness were really taking advantage of the wilderness's resources. I guess it's kind of like the saying "life goes on". Later on, much later on, after the newly transformed wilderness became a resource to feast on, the trees regrow much stronger, much thicker!
In addition to this, it's much like fall and spring: the leaves fall sometime during October, and then they regrow beautifully during the Spring. The winter is only a phase.
